Julia Zimmerman is a senior majoring in History of Art and Anthropology, minoring in Museums and Society. She has worked with various art organizations since 2014, including the Lilac Art Series, the Katonah Museum of Art, and the Baltimore Office of Promotion and the Arts. She is fascinated with public and site-specific art and contemporary art in historic places.
Casey Haughin is a senior majoring in Archaeology and History of Art and minoring in Museums and Society. Her interests include museum accessibility, social justice movements within institutions, and public heritage management. She recently completed an internship in Public Programs at the Barnes Foundation, and has worked at the Johns Hopkins Archaeological Museum since Fall 2016.
Isabella Altherr is a senior Classics major, Museums and Society Minor. She is interested in museum education, museum governance, and the intersection of activism, academia, and museum studies. She recently interned at the Museum of the City of New York and works at the Johns Hopkins Archaeological Museum.
Thaara Sumithra Shankar is a senior majoring in the History of Art and minoring in Classics and Museums and Society and the H. Lee Kanter Woodrow Wilson Fellow. She has previously interned at the Walters Art Museum, Met Cloisters, and Whitney Museum of American Art. She is currently an Education Assistant at the Walters Art Museum and a co-president of Thoroughfare Magazine, an arts and literary magazine at JHU. She is an avid music lover and is interested in artist rights.
Ian Waggoner is a sophomore majoring in the History of Art and minoring in Museums and Society. He is interested in museum education, policies, and community relationships. He has previously interned at the Julia A Purnell Museum in Snow Hill, Maryland. He currently is a Membership Assistant at the Baltimore Museum of Art.
